District 5 Adjourn: Approved 9/21/17 Prattville Planning Commission August 17, 2017 Minutes Page 1 of 2 CITY OF PRATTVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES August 17, 2017 Call to order: Chairman Tim Smith called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m. Roll Call: The secretary called the roll. Members present were Councilman Richard Cables, Chairman Tim Smith, Mr. Mark Hindman, Mr. Roy McAuley and Mr. Bobby Nelson. Absent: Mayor Bill Gillespie, Vice-Chairman Reuben Gardner, Chief Dallis Johnson and Mrs. Paula Carpenter. (Quorum present) Staff present: Mr. Joel Duke, City Planner and Ms. Alisa Morgan, Secretary. Minutes: Mr. McAuley moved to approve the minutes of the July 20, 2017 meeting. Councilman Cables seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Old Business: There was no old business for discussion. New Business: 1. Re-Plat: Prattmont Heights Plat 1-A Location: 1137 & 1145 East Main Street Owner: Clarence & Thelma Evans Representative: Pilgreen Engineering, Inc. Mr. Duke presented the re-plat of Prattmont Heights Plat 1-A. He stated that the petitioner is requesting to combine three separate lots into one single lot. He stated that the city has no objection to the re-plat. Mr. McAuley moved to approve the re-plat of Prattmont Heights Plat 1-A as submitted. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion. After no further discussion, the vote was called. The motion to approve passed unanimously. 2. Re-Plat: Legends at HomePlace Plat 6 Location: Legends Drive Owners: Rock Hill, LLC Representative: Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood, Inc. Mr. Duke presented the re-plat of Legends at HomePlace Plat 6. He stated that the property is located east of Legends Drive. He stated that the re-plat is a single, twelve acre parcel created for an economic development project. Cedric Campbell of Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood, Inc. was in attendance as the petitioner’s representative. Councilman Cables moved to approve the re-plat of Legends at HomePlace Plat 6. Mr. Hindman seconded the motion. After no further discussion, the vote was called. The motion to approve passed unanimously.
