8 WHEREAS, the Autauga County Master Gardeners Association has maintained the 9 10 Demonstration Garden located at the corner of S. Washington Street and Doster Street, more 11

specifically described as: 13 14 Commencing at the SE corner of South Washington Street and Doster Street thence southerly 15
around a curve (Concave Easterly) Having a radius of 1427.89 Ft, a chord which bears S 02°506’ 16
49” W a chord distance of 90’ to a point of beginning. Thence East 80 feet thence South 120 17
thence West 80 thence North 120 to the point of beginning.; and 18 19 WHEREAS, the Autauga County Master Gardeners Association members volunteer 20 21 their time to maintain the garden and donate the produce raised in said garden; and 22 23 WHEREAS, the City of Prattville and the Master Gardeners Association desire to enter 24 25 in a Lease Agreement for said property for a three-year term. 26 27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Prattville 28

WHEREAS, renovations to the facility located at 475 E. Main Street are estimated to 17

Karla Boles Properties, LLC for the CareHere Center located at 1294 East Main Street, 13 14 Suite D; and 15 16
WHEREAS, the term of the current lease shall expire on December 31, 2019; and 17
18 WHEREAS, the City of Prattville desires to continue to lease said property for the 19 20 CareHere Center at a cost not to exceed $11,400.00 per year; and 21
22 WHEREAS, said rental costs shall be paid from the Group Health Fund. 23 24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Prattville 25 26
does hereby authorize the Mayor to enter into a Commercial Lease Agreement with Karla 27 28 Boles Properties, LLC for the CareHere Center for a three (3) year term beginning January 1, 29 30 2020 and ending December 31, 2023. 31
32 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the rental costs associated with said lease are 33 34 hereby authorized and appropriated to be paid from the Group Health Fund. 35 36
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and any other necessary 37 38 representatives of the City are hereby authorized to execute or attest signatures required on 39 40 any document reasonably necessary to carry out the intent of this Resolution. 41

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Prattville, Alabama, as follows: 3 4 THAT the zoning ordinance of the City of Prattville, Alabama adopted on February 10, 5 6
1950, subsequently amended from time to time, and the zoning map adopted on the 1st day 7 8 of May, 1987, are hereby amended to reclassify the property described in Attachment “A”; 9 10 and 11
12 THAT this proposed ordinance and a synopsis was advertised for two (2) weeks in the 13 14 Prattville Progress, a newspaper of general circulation within the City Limits of the City of 15 16
Prattville, and that the City Council of the City of Prattville, at its Public Hearing on the 7th 17 18 day of January, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., considered said proposed ordinance and that at such 19 20 time and place all persons who desired had an opportunity to be heard in favor of or in 21
22 opposition to such ordinance. 23 24 ALL other items and provisions of the zoning ordinance of the City of Prattville not 25 26
herein specifically amended shall remain in full force and effect. 27 28 THE amendments herein contained were considered and recommended by the City of 29 30 Prattville Planning Commission on November 21, 2019. 31
