Minutes 2011-02-22 Work SessionPRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2011 6:00 P.M. The Prattville City Council held a work session on Tuesday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Doster Memorial Community Center, 424 South Northington Street, Prattville, AL 36067. The meeting was called to order by Council President Tom Miller. Mayor Gillespie and City Attorney David McDowell were recorded as being present as well as the following department heads: City Engineer Robby Anderson, IT Director Brad Belden, Cultural Arts Director Kellie Cook, Wastewater Superintendent Rick Teague, Planning Director Joel Duke, Deputy Fire Chief Terry Brown, Interim Finance Director Doug Moseley, Leisure Services Director Drew Peterson, Interim Vehicle Maintenance Director Kenny Rawlinson, City Clerk Gina P. Smith, Human Resources Director Lisa Thrash, Police Chief Alfred Wadsworth, Judge Louis Colley and Street Superintendent George Williams. Diane Steinhilber and Gina Williams were also present representing Jackson Thornton & Co, PC. The media was represented by WAKA and WSFA, and Montgomery CW news. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the FY 2010-2011 budget. At the close of the meeting, Council President Miller announced that a Public Hearing regarding the budget will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. ADJOURN: There being no further business to come before the Council, a motion was made to adjourn and the motion was seconded.
