WORK SESSION MINUTES
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2011
5:59 P.M.
The Prattville City Council held a work session on Tuesday, November 8th at 5:59 p.m.in the
Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 W. Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Mike Renegar. Councilmen Striplin,
Wood, Argo, Boles and Fank were recorded as being present. Councilman Miller was
telephoned Conferenced into the Work Session. Mayor Bill Gillespie, Captain Albert
Wadsworth, Battalion Commander Mike Whaley, Fire Marshal Dallis Johnson, Executive
Secretary to the Police Department Paula Barlow and Webmaster, Teresa Lee were recorded
as being present as well as the following department heads: Planning Director, Joel Duke;
Interim Finance Director, Doug Moseley; Interim City Clerk, Jamie F. McClellan; Police
Chief, Tim Huggins; Fire Chief, Terry Brown; Interim Wastewater Director, Rick Teague;
Municipal Chief Court Clerk, Charlotte Adair; Human Resources Director, Lisa Thrash; City
Engineer, Robby Anderson; Cultural Arts Director, Kellie Cook, Urban Management Director,
Ken Johnson and Leisure Services Director, Drew Peterson. WSFA 12 News was present. Jim
Marshal with Jackson Thornton and Steve Cawood with Goodwyn Mills and Cawood were
also present.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proposed 2012 budget.

There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 8:09
p.m.
