NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Prattville does hereby acknowledge that the City Council has reviewed and submits the 2022 MWPP annual reports for the City to ADEM. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City, through its staff in the Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department, shall continue to maintain the diligent monitoring of effluent from the wastewater system and shall continue to treat wastewater effluent in the same manner as they have in the past, in accordance with all Federal and State regulations. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City will continue training programs as recommended by the Public Works Director and as required by all applicable Federal or State Government regulatory agencies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Prattville, that an application be submitted to ALDOT and the City Council commits to all matching funds. THAT this proposed ordinance and a synopsis were advertised for two (2) weeks in the Montgomery Advertiser, a newspaper of general circulation within the Corporate Limits of the City of Prattville, and that the City Council of the City of Prattville, at its Public Hearing on June 20, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., considered said proposed amended ordinance and that at such time and place all persons who desired had an opportunity to be heard in favor of or in opposition to such ordinance. ALL other items and provisions of the zoning ordinance of the City of Prattville not herein specifically amended shall remain in full force and effect. THE amendments herein contained were considered and recommended by the City of Prattville Planning Commission on May 1, 2023.
