BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall have the overgrown grass and weeds 19

at said properties removed using City forces or private contractors. The property owners shall 21
22
have the right to remove said nuisances at their expense provided that the removal is done 23
24
prior to the commencement of work by employees or agents of the City of Prattville. The Mayor 25
26
shall keep an accounting of all costs related to this request and report such costs to the City 27
28
Council following its removal.29

WHEREAS, said classroom training frequently draws visitors from all over the country 20

WHEREAS, the Police and Fire Departments had plans drafted for a joint facility to be 24

located in West Industrial Park that would meet both departments’ needs; and26

WHEREAS, Public Works has a need for a facility to house the Street Division in South 28

WHEREAS, in Resolution Book 2021-A, Page(s) 199, 200 and 201, the City Council of 32

the City of Prattville authorized the Mayor to enter into agreements for preliminary design 34

services for Project Parks; and36

WHEREAS, in Resolution Book 2022, Page 030, the City Council of the City of Prattville 38

approved the next design phase of Project Parks and approved various funding sources for 40

WHEREAS, Project Parks represents the following three Parks and Recreation Tier I 44

(1) Renovations to Pratt Park, 48

(3) Renovations to Stanley Jensen Stadium; and 50

WHEREAS, due to extreme material and labor cost increases, the funding needs for the 52

WHEREAS, the Finance Director has identified certain additional funds available to 56

cover a portion of the additional funding needed; and 58

WHEREAS, additional funds are needed in the form of financing for the remainder.60
