WHEREAS, Taqueria La Parroquia LLC d/b/a Taqueria La Parroquia, has applied for a 8

Restaurant Retail Liquor License for a business located at 1717 South Memorial Drive, 10
11
Prattville, AL 36067, which is a restaurant; and 12
13
WHEREAS, a public hearing was set by Resolution Book 2024-B, Page 287, on 14
15
December 3, 2024, and held January 7, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., and that at such time and place 16
17
all persons who desired had an opportunity to be heard in favor of or in opposition to such 18
19
resolution. 20

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Prattville 22
23
hereby approves the issuance of a Restaurant Retail Liquor License to Taqueria La Parroquia 24
25
LLC d/b/a Taqueria La Parroquia, for the business located at 1717 South Memorial Drive, 26
27
Prattville, AL 36067. 28

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Prattville, Alabama, as follows: 9

THAT the zoning ordinance of the City of Prattville, Alabama, and the zoning map are 11
12
hereby amended to reclassify the property described in Attachment “A” from R-2 to INST and 13
14
Attachment “B” from R-2 to R-3; and 15
16
THAT this proposed Ordinance and a synopsis were advertised for two (2) weeks in the 17
18
Montgomery Advertiser, a newspaper of general circulation within the Corporate Limits of the 19
20
City of Prattville, and that the City Council at its Public Hearing on January 7, 2025, at 6:00 21
22
p.m., considered said proposed Ordinance and that at such time and place all persons who 23
24
desired had an opportunity to be heard in favor of or in opposition to such Ordinance. 25
26
ALL other items and provisions of the zoning ordinance not herein specifically amended 27
28
shall remain in full force and effect. 29

THE amendments herein contained were considered and recommended by the City of 31
32
Prattville Planning Commission on November 21, 2024. 33
34
THIS Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and execution as provided by 35
36
law. 37
