BUDGET WORK SESSION MINUTES
TUESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2014
5:30 P.M.
The Prattville City Council held a work session on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in
the Council Chambers at City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Wood. Councilor Boles, Councilor
Boone, and Councilor Starnes were recorded as being absent.
Mayor Bill Gillespie, Municipal Judge Louis Colley, and Mayor’s Executive Assistant Teresa
Lee were recorded as being present, as well as the following department heads: Court
Magistrate, Charlotte Adair; City Engineer, Robby Anderson; Fire Chief, Terry Brown; Parks
and Recreation Director, Kellie Cook; City Clerk, Cathy Dickerson; City Planner, Joel Duke;
Public Works Director, Randy Lucas; Finance Director, Doug Moseley; Police Chief, Mark
Thompson; and Human Resources Director, Lisa Thrash. The following were also present:
Sanitation Department Interim, Walter Love; Wastewater Department, Dale Gandy; Urban
Management, Deven Peek; and Vehicle Maintenance, Kenny Rawlinson. The media was
represented by WSFA and Marty Roney, Montgomery Advertiser.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proposed FY2014-2015 budgets.
ADJOURN:
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 6:07
p.m.
