WORK SESSION/PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2013
6:00 P.M.
The Prattville City Council held a work session on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Wood. Councilor Boles was recorded as
being absent.
Mayor Bill Gillespie, Municipal Judge Louis Colley, Mayor’s Executive Assistant Teresa Lee,
and Mayor’s Administrative Assistant Meredith Dismukes were recorded as being present, as
well as the following department heads: Court Magistrate, Charlotte Adair; City Engineer,
Robby Anderson; Fire Chief, Terry Brown; Sanitation Director, Walter Love; Leisure Services
Director, Kellie Cook; City Clerk, Cathy Dickerson; City Planner, Joel Duke; Finance Director,
Doug Moseley; Vehicle Maintenance Director, Kenny Rawlinson, Wastewater Director, Rick
Teague; Human Resources Director, Lisa Thrash; Urban Management, Matthew Morgan and
Deven Peek. Also present was Battalion Commander Michael Whaley. The media was
represented by Marty Roney, Montgomery Advertiser.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proposed FY2014 budget and employee
holidays.
There was no one present to speak for or against the proposed budget.

There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 6:08
p.m.
