PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, JULY 3, 2012
5:59 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing on Tuesday, July 3,
2012 at 5:59 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Renegar called the
meeting to order. Roll was called and Councilor Miller was recorded as being absent.
AGENDA
1. RESOLUTION: To Declare Various Weeded Lots to be a Public Nuisance and Ordering
Their Abatement per Title 11, Chapter 67 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as Amended.

No one spoke in favor of the Resolution.
Steven Wood, 1652 County Road 87, Deatsville, spoke in opposition of the Resolution. Mr.
Wood is the owner of the property located at 204 Allenville Road, Prattville, which is listed in
the Resolution. Mr. Wood stated that he cut the property after receiving notice from the City
and will continue to maintain the property.
Council President Renegar informed Mr. Wood that as long as the property had been brought
into compliance with City Code no further action would be taken.
ADJOURN:
There being no further business to come before the council, Councilor Boles made a motion to
adjourn and Councilor Wood seconded the motion. The public hearing was adjourned at 6:01
p.m.
