PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2019
6:00 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in public hearing on Tuesday, January 7,
2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Council President Striplin called the
meeting to order. Roll was called and all were recorded as being present.
1. ORDINANCE: To Rezone Property Located at the Southwest Corner of Highway 82 and
Washington Ferry Road from B-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) and R-2 (Single Family
Residential) to B-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) (Owner/Petitioner: William Terry Stanfield).

HELD FROM DECEMBER 3, 2019
Terry Stanfield, 138 Pierce Lane, spoke in favor of this ordinance. Mr. Stanfield stated that he
would like to establish a restaurant on this property. Mr. Stanfield requested that the Council
see fit to rezone the property.
There was no one present to speak against the ordinance.

There being no further comments, Council President Striplin closed the Public Hearing at 6:02
p.m.
