Brown on August 4, 2020; and 10 11 WHEREAS, the City Council declared the vacancy in City Council District Three in 12 13 Resolution Book 2020-A, Page 107, on August 18, 2020; and 14 15 WHEREAS, said resolution stated that the City Council would consider an 16 17 appointment to fill said vacancy following the certification of the Municipal Election held on 18 19 August 25, 2020; and 20 21 WHEREAS, John Chambers was certified as receiving a majority of the votes cast for 22 23 the office of Councilmember District No. 3 and was declared as duly elected to that office for 24 25 the term beginning on the first Monday in November, 2020, at the Canvass Meeting held at 26 27 11:00 a.m. on September 1, 2020; and 28 29 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appoint John Chambers to fill the current 30 31 vacancy in District 3 for the remainder of the 2020 Quadrennium. 32 33 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of 34 35 Prattville hereby appoints John Chambers to fill the unexpired term of Denise B. and 9 10 WHEREAS, the owner of said subdivision must maintain the public utilities, rights-of- 11 12 way, and easements in the subdivision until accepted by the City Council; and 13 14 WHEREAS, the owner of the said subdivision has maintained the public utilities, 15 16 rights-of-way, and easements in the subdivision for the minimum period required by the 17 18 Prattville Subdivision Regulations (Article III, Section D (6) c.), and has corrected all 19 20 deficiencies presented by the Prattville Engineering Department;
