PRATTVILLE CITY COUNCIL
WORK SESSION MINUTES
OCTOBER 15, 2020
6:00 P.M.
The Prattville City Council held a work session on Thursday October 15, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in
the Council Chambers at City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Council President
Striplin and all councilors were recording as being present.
Mayor Bill Gillespie was present, as well as the following staff: Public Works Director Dale
Gandy, Sanitation Superintendent Tracy Simpson, City Engineer Robby Anderson, Finance
Director Daniel Oakley, City Planner Scott Stephens, Assistant City Clerk Jamie Clayton, and
Mayor’s Executive Assistant Lisa Byrd.
Council President Striplin called the meeting to order. Council President Striplin turned the
meeting over to Councilor Cables.
Councilor Cables explained that the work session was requested by the Sanitation Committee
to discuss the need for a sanitation rate increase. Councilor Cables turned the meeting over to
Public Works Director Dale Gandy.
Mr. Gandy gave a presentation on outlining the need for a rate increase. Said presentation is
attached.
ADJOURN:
There being no further discussion, the work session adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
