Annexation: Glennbrooke 8 30 Location: South of Old Ridge Road and west of Glennbrooke 7 31 Petitioner: Barrett-Simpson, Inc. 32 33 Mr. Williams provided the staff report for the annexation and zoning amendment for property of 34 Glennbrooke 8 located south of Old Ridge Road and West of Glennbrooke 7. He stated that the 35 petitioner is requesting to annex into the city limits and zone the approximately 62.9 acre property to 36 R-3. He stated that the staff recommends approval of the proposed zoning as it is consistent with the 37 Comprehensive Land Use Plan. He also stated that the current moratorium that is in place for 38 annexation will end November 1, 2020. 39 40 Chairman Smith opened the floor for public comments. Annexation: 1312 Old Ridge Road 68 Location: Southwest side of Old Ridge Rd, near Hamilton Ln 69 Petitioner: Water Works Board of the City of Prattville 70 71 Mr. Rigsby presented the staff report for the annexation and zoning of property located at 1312 Old 72 Ridge Road. He stated that the applicant is requesting the annexation of the parcel which currently 73 houses a water tower. He stated that annexation of this property will eliminate holes of unincorporated 74 property within the city. 75 76 Chairman Smith opened the floor for public comments. There being none, the public hearing was 77 closed. 78 79 Mr. Gardner introduced a resolution recommending approval of the annexation of property located at 80 1312 Old Ridge Road and moved for its approval.
