8 WHEREAS, December 21 Inc. d/b/a Premier Liquor and Wine has applied for a Lounge
9
10 Retail Liquor -Class II (Package) License for a business to be located at 194 7 Cobbs Ford
11
12 Road , Prattville, Alabama, 36066 ; and
13
14 WHEREAS, a public hearing was set by Resolution Book 2021-A, Page 222, and held
15
16 at 6 :00 p .m. on January 4, 2022, and that at such time and place all persons who desired had
17
18 an opportunity to be heard in favor of or in opposition to such resolution .
19
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Prattville
21
22 hereby approves the issuance of a Lounge Retail Liquor -Class 11 (Package) License for the
23
24 business to be located at 1947 Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville, Alabama, 36066 .

9 BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Prattville, Alabama, as follows:

11 THAT the zoning ordinance of the City of Prattville, Alabama, adopted on February 10,
12
13 1950, subsequently amended from time to time, and the zoning map adopted on May 1, 1987,
14
1s are hereby amended to reclassify the property described in Attachment "A" from B-2 (General
16
17 Business) to FAR (Forest, Agriculture , Recreation); and
18
19 THAT this proposed ordinance and a synopsis was advertised for two (2) weeks in the
20
21 Montgomery Advertiser, a newspaper of general circulation within the City Limits of the City of
22
23 Prattville , and that the City Council of the City of Prattville, at its public hearing on January 4,
24
25 2022, at 6:00 p.m., considered said proposed ordinance , and that at such time and place all
26
27 persons who desired had an opportunity to be heard in favor of or in opposition to such
28
29 ordinance.

31 ALL other items and provisions of the zoning ordinance of the City of Prattville not herein
32
33 specifically amended shall remain in full force and effect.
34
35 THE amendments herein contained were considered and recommended by the City of
36
37 Prattville Planning Commission on November 18, 2021.

39 THIS ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and execution as provided by
40
41 law .
