Rezoning B-2 to R-2_Newton Street and Gillespie Street (PH 3 and Agenda 3)RESOLUTION Zoning Request from B-2 to R-2 City of Prattville, Petitioner April 21, 2022 Whereas, the City of Prattville has submitted a request to rezone the property as described in Attachment A and shown in Attachment B; and Whereas, the subject property is located inside of the city limits at Newton Street and Gillespie Street; and Whereas, the petitioner wishes to rezone the property from B-2 (General Business) to R-2 (Single Family Residential); and Whereas, a public hearing on the proposed zoning amendment was held by the Prattville Planning Commissi on on April 21, 2022 . Now, Therefore, Be it Resolved, that the City of Prattville Planning Commission hereby recommends the zoning of said property from B-2 to R-2.
