DevelopmentFees_2022 Chapter 101 Article I Sec. 101-3. - Development fees. A fee shall be paid for the item addressed by the planning and development department that require staff review and approval or hearing and approval before one of the various boards or commissions. Fees shall be waived when the applicant is the City of Prattville. Fees shall be charged according to the following schedule: Accessory Structure $25* Administrative Appeal $100 Annexation No fee (must be submitted with a rezoning application) Certificate of Appropriateness $100 Certificate of Appropriateness (Expedited Review) $25 Fence Permit $25* Final Plat (Administrative) $50 Final Plat (Planning Commission) $100 Miscellaneous Application (Administrative) $25* Miscellaneous Application (to Board or Commission) $100 Planned Unit Development - Preliminary Master Plan $250** Planned Unit Development - Master Plan $100 Preliminary Plat $250 Rezoning/Zoning Map or Text Amendment $250** Sign Permit $1/sqft of sign area (minimum of $25)* Site Plan $250 Special Exception (Use-on-appeal) $100 Subdivision Construction Plans $250 + $10 per lot Subdivision Master Plan or Sketch Plan $100 Temporary Use $25 Variance (Nonresidential and Multi-family residential) $250 Variance (Residential) $100 *if a request also requires a building permit to be submitted, the building permit fee will also apply ** legal advertising fees must be paid to City Clerk prior to City Council public hearing When a permit or approval is required and work has begun prior to obtaining said permit or approval, an administrative fee of $250 may be charged and the development fee herein specified may be doubled.
