PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2022
6:01 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER: The Prattville City Council met in Public Hearing on Tuesday, November
15, 2022, at 6:01 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Roll was called with all Councilors
recorded as present with the exception of Councilor Gornto. Council President Boone declared
a quorum and called the meeting to order.
1. RESOLUTION: To Authorize the Mayor to have Various Weeded Lots Abated per Title 11,
Chapter 67 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as Amended. {Sponsored By: Councilor Gornto}
Council President Boone advised this Public Hearing pertained to 907 Brookwood Drive, 1212
Josephine Avenue and 212 Edgewood Avenue.
Jane Cole, 904 Brookwood Drive, spoke in favor of the resolution, stating that the house has
been vacant since summer and the neighbors are the only ones doing any yard maintenance.
There was no one present to speak in opposition to the resolution and Council President Boone
concluded the Public Hearing.
ADJOURN: There being no further comments, Council President Boone closed the Public
Hearings at 6:03 p.m.
