SPECIAL CALLED CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2023
7:00 A.M.
The Prattville City Council met for a Special Called City Council meeting to canvass the
February 28, 2023, Special Municipal Election Results for City Council District 4 on Tuesday,
March 7, 2023, at 7:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Roll was called with all
Councilors recorded as present. Council President Boone declared a quorum and called the
meeting to order.
City Clerk Paula G. Barlow gave guidance on the canvassing procedure. She advised that two
(2)provisional ballots were cast. After review from the Autauga County Board of Registrars,
the ballots were deemed ineligible and would not be counted in the final tabulation. Election
materials, including used ballots, would be stored for six (6) months and then disposed of in
the appropriate manner.

1.RESOLUTION: To Canvass the February 28, 2023, Special Municipal Election Results for
City Council District 4. {Sponsored By: Council President Boone}
Council President Pro T em pore Strichik made a motion to adopt the resolution and Councilor
Gornto seconded the motion. There being no discussion, the Resolution was adopted with the
following results:

Council President Boone reminded all Councilors to sign the Certificate of Election prior to
leaving the meeting.
ADJOURN:
There being no further business to come before the Council, Council President Pro Tempore
Strichik made a motion to adjourn and Councilor Gornto seconded the motion.
The meeting adjourned at 7:03 a.m. (6-0).
