Prattville building permits are issued subject to compliance with all requirements of the relevant building codes, zoning ordinance, and all other pertinent
laws and regulations. The issuance of a permit does not presume to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of any state or local law regulating
construction or the performance of the construction. All provisions of law and ordinances shall be complied with whether specified herein or not.
Permit placards must be on site and visible at all times.
Required Items for Submission:
_____ Site plan - must be drawn to a standard engineering scale showing all property lines, setbacks, easements, driveways, and
existing and proposed structures on the site, with dimensions. Plan must show at least two off-street parking spaces per
manufactured home (does not need to be striped on site). Plan should be 8.5x11, 8.5x14, or 11x17.
_____ Fees (we typically collect fees prior to issuing the permit; by marking here, you indicate that you understand and will be
responsible for all fees); if home is moved or placed prior to the issuance of a permit, the permit fee will be double and an
administrative fee of $250 may be added.
_____ I certify and affirm that no structural alterations have been made to the home; I further certify that requirements of the Alabama
Manufactured Housing Commission will be met, including site preparation requirements and installer decal.
I have read the above statements and warrant in good faith that I understand and will comply, that my application is complete,
and that the information submitted is true and correct. I authorize representatives of the City of Prattville to enter upon the
above-mentioned property for inspection purposes.
